You have to find a dealer, you can't order it.

lol bs, and if they did had it I wouldn't have installation done by them, try another place except, best buy, car toys... ya places like those do not go to, needs to be an alarm place with high recommendations and high experienced workers

I just got this alarm less than a month ago and I'm loving it. Great alarm, Just one thing happened to me was, when you lock arm you alarm and your doors lock, it will say that your door is still open, but it isn't. I got my alarm in Washington, I see that you're in NJ, So I doubt you're coming here anytime soon, But if you do, I can recommend a great place that will do a great install too. Other than that, Try looking online, Maybe even Ebay? I think you can find them for around 300ish, And around 200 to install?

it's improperly installed. when you arm it, it should not show that the door is still open.
if you email compustar.org, they will recommend a shop that can install it. I purchased mine from
http://theinstallationshop.com
you should try it there. I think it is local to your area.

I got mine on ebay for like $200 shipped brand new and am very happy with it. i have the 2w900fmr. The model you are refering I have heard issues with the remote saying unlock but the car was acutally armed and lock. This is the reason i went with the 2w900fmr i have had ZERO issues with it. when you order make sure you tell them you have manuel.
Any alarm shop can install it because it has safety features that makes sure you have the car in nuetural to start it.

MConsoliA4 -we sell the full line of compustar Pro at my shop. It's only sold at independant shops and you the installers go through different trainings to become "certified" to sell them. The Pro series is also reserved for high end shops and require a $3K buy in to even be a dealer. Let me know if you can find someone to install it or want to drive up to NH i'd be more than happy to sell you one at a good deal.
can you pm me a price.thanks

More than likely the installer used the dome light trigger wire instead of the actual door triggers.
After you close the door, the interior light stays on for 30 seconds I think, or right around there anyway.
Doing this makes the alarm think the door is open but it will arm/lock the doors. Using the correct door trigger wire the alarm will not care if the interior light is on, it will only see that a door is open or closed.
