i'm looking to buy the n3 but before i do i would like to know if anyone has any comment about it, any pictures installed ,or better brands recommend!!!

Ipod connectivity and multimedia capabilities are great on the newrer Pionner units. The only reason I dont want one is because a little $120 clarion or alpine cd palyer will give you better sound. So, I usually go with Alpine, Clarion, Eclipse, or Kenwood Excellon. Pionneers do seem to be the best overall package deal when funding is a major limiting factor. GoodLuck

i was told today by my local car audio place that the n3's can't play dvd is that ture!!!

i like the Eclipse AVN models, they are really nice and dont lag when you push the buttons like the AVIC models do. I like the HD navigation too as opposed to the CD's that come with the AVIC.

That's not true the n3 can play dvd, plus it's the easiest model to bypass (watch movies while in motion, input addresses into navigation while in motion). I have the n2 and it performs beautifully but was a pain in the ass to bypass. The n3 has a switch on the bottom that you slide over to enable to bypass.

With dvd playback, xm navtraffic compatibility and gps navigation the Pioneer Avic N(x) units rock.
