JVC KD-NX5000 Nav/headunit

Has anyone installed this in their EVO?

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-FBGvG7r...0&I=105KDNX500

According to Crutchfield, it's supposed to fit. To me though, the front looks a little too wide and tall to sit flush with the bezel.

I'll be picking one for my evo.

http://www.ubid.com/actn/opn/getpage...7299&uwb=93731

That price should under cut Crutchfield by $325

That's a great price! Where do you plan on getting the wiring adapter from? Also, do you know how to tap into the speedometer? Apparently, this unit needs access to that in order for the NAV to function correctly. This is different than the gyroscope based Pioneers.

Bump.. looking for any other opinions? I'm about to order this radio.

Also, I wanted to confirm that the VSS wire is the Yellow/Black wire, and can be found either at the ECU or the OBDII port?

Where is the hand brake wire located?

Yes, should be one in the same. Know where it is and what color?

I was going to pick it up, but I already had the KVAX-2 and decided to stick with that. If I need nav I'll pick up a Tom-Tom.
