Jensen In-Dash Multimedia Player

Anybody have this Jensen deck on their evo?
Sound quality?
Video quality?
Durability?

I know this is a cheap multimedia piece but it seems very affordable to me compared to the 1k+ pieces.

Got it in the wifes expedition...works very well believe it or not. Have the IPOD hooked up to and a few other goodies. Folks knock Jensen, but it's a great product for the price.

I hate Jensen honestly. Have since the begining. I used to do custom stereo installs all the time and their old stuff never impressed me. They used to skip on the smallest bumps and the damn beeping that it would do when you pushed any button on it was annoying as hell. However.... I have heard good things about their Multi-media units and supposedly they dont skip like before. People seem to like them and for the $ you cant go wrong really.

My friend has that same head unit in his truck, from wat i know he loves it and it works great and for that price you cant beat it... im looking into getting one myself

I have put that indash in several vehicles, for the money its cheap. i see them come back all the time with the volume knob broken off. also they come back not reading cds or the screen going out. i honestly dont like it. out of all the indashes, those come back the most... but for 350, its a screen....

i had one and loved it plus you cant beat that price. it never skipped nothing the picture quality for movies were jus as good as any other pioneer or alpine. unforntunatly it got jacked 2 weeks after i put it in my evo arghy!

I haven't messed with their multimedia stuff but I did have a 600X4 Jensen amp on my 2 10's (200rms each) and the amp blew... Im running a 200wat MTX right now and its way more than enough...

you paid close to 30K for your EVO...please dont cheap out at this point. Get something used for a couple of hundred more...

You can find plenty of HU with a LCD in the for sale section of this forum

You get what you pay for...I used to work in Mobile Electronics at Circuit City, and Jensen was and still is the worst they offered.
