on my viii and going on my ix, bolting up two amps on the "V" stock brace of the trunk thru panel. You'll see it when you take the cover off. Measure and drill for vertical installs. Frees up a lot of room on the trunk floor. I then put back the rear strut bar which act as barrier against damage to the amps.
when you bolt up the amps, pre drill the brace and the carpeted cover. Put back the cover then bolt the amps for clean install. You can snake all the wiring to the trunk corner from interior flooring.
I'll have to post the pics when I'm finally done. It's taking forever!!!
BTW, make sure you pick lighter amps! I got two Eclipse newer amps. Small footprint and light!

On my first system i had them on both sidez of my trunk, on my second system after they stole my first one i did it custom i got a foot and a half of trunk space but it lookz good and soundz real good i'll post pictures when i got some time!
You guyz also gotta remember when you got your ampz covered up your not letting any ventilation into them and they get hot and don't respond the right way.
