Question Installing gauge kit on GSR

Anyone know if there is a kit for installing the factory gauge kit in the lower opening on a GSR ( in place of the "change" tray)? It doesn't seem to have the bracket necesary to mount the four screws to.

If you unscrew it, I believe there is four screw holes. Thats where I installed my gauges.

Bringing this one back from the dead! If I place the OE sports meter gauge kit in the lower opening on a GSR (where the change tray is), I assume i would then need the black plastic housing that surrounds the gauge kit on an MR and RS. Does anyone know the part number on this piece, as the radio relocation piece only works for a radio, not the OE gauge pack. Thanks. I'll post this in part number requests, also.

I think it would be easier if you mount the OEM gauge set in the spot where the factory radio is. It bolts right in. Then if you have an after market radio put the can where the radio slides into the bottom portion of where the change holder is using a relocation kit. That is what I did. But if you want to you can also bolt the factory radio into the relocation kit. The kit is like $50, you will need the kit either way.

Thanks for the info! I have the radio relo kit but I would like to put the gauges on the bottom. There seems to be a large space between the mounted gauges and the black plastic trim piece. Are the gauges in the MR and RS's mounted directly to the trim piece or are they mounted differently so they sit flush behind the trim piece? Anybody with an MR or Rs that has relocated the gauges to the top can probably answer this one, hopefully!

they are mounted like a normal gauge.... there is a nut on the back that holds a retaing clip to the (also on back) panel. so in other words, they are flush mounted, and you can easily move them around from spot to spot.
