Headunit connected to Creative MP3 player.

Creative MP3 connection and Headunits....

I see all these Ipod connections too the Alpine headunit and i'm about too buy a Creative Zen Vision:M as i'm so anti-ipod after having 6-8 of them break after being replaced 2-3 times each between my family.

Anyhow, obviously the controls won't be compatible with the Alpine ipod gear, but the basic theory of a 3.5mm jack into RCA's plugged into the input of a headunit should be the same yeah?

Regards

You just have to find a headunit with an Aux input and you should be fine. You won't be able to control the player from the headunit, but it should play whatever is selected on the player. You will also have double volume control with the player and head unit.

Yeah thats fine, not too worried about that.
Its more for the longer drives, I can just setup a playlist and upload it before setting off.

Just had such a bad run with Apple stuff, hence the change.
Anyone recommend any decent high-end units with inputs, or do most of them have it??
