I am running an Oddessy 680 for my huge system. No problem, but I am running 2 batteries. One in the front and one in the rear with an battery isolator.

I don't think running a mini battery and a system is a good idea. But you can put the mini batery up front to clear up room, or just elimnate The whole battery in the Engine bay by relocating it to the trunk. It all up to you, if its a small system you could just get a Big capacitor and It would work that way.
