Alarm System for 2004 EVO RS...

Hello,

I would REALLY like to get an alarm system for my EVO. I can live without power locks and keyless entry. But I really want an alarm. Would there be anyway to get an alarm but keep the manual locks? Or would I have to get power locks with keyless entry also? Has anybody with an RS done this? Thanks!

You probably found out the answer by now, but... yes you can get an alarm without power locks or keyless entry. I'm not an alarm expert, but I think you can get the alarm to detect the doors open and close by those little (existing) switches in the door jam. And of course vibrations and glass breaking sounds. You'll only be arming and disarming the alarm so you can open and close your doors.
