panasonic headunit...

i got a panasonic headunit about a year ago and it recently broke so i got the new Panasonic CQ-C9800U, does anyone know if it will be the same harness? thanx!

Well from my experiance when you have a headunit (ive done 4 cars) you have 2 harnesses that you need in order to do the install. The first being one that is according to the car that you are installing in. I assume that you have that because you already had a headunit. The other being specific to that headunit you just bought, and from my experiance that comes in the box you bought the headunit in. So you should have everything you need. Just use the original harness you used in the car for your last cd player.

I think he is asking this so he can just switch out the head unit and not rewire the new harness? Am I correct?
