Question Car won't start

So about a month ago i installed an AEM CDI with 300M coils in the EVO 9. The car has been missing at the top end ever since, then about 2-weeks ago the car back-fires. Not a small back-fire mind you guys, but big, kind of like a shot gun, and at idle. Lifted the head with ARP head studs. Well anyways replaced head gasket and now compression is fine again, but car won't start. Checked all sensors, fuses/relays (all good), coils, and even reverted back to stock coils with no luck. Question is what's wrong? Has anybody had this problem? What else should I be looking at?
