over heat after cam install

hey guys. last night i installed a set of hks 272s on my car. everything went good. car runs normal and all but today while i was sitting i noticed that my ac wasnt blowing cold air anymore so i looked at the temp guage and it was just about at the 'H'. there is NO leaks at all and the only thing i can reallly think of is maybe its the cams i just put in?... it was 106 out today and the car is NOT tuned yet. but i have not been gettin on it at all.

has anyone else had this problem or know whats goin on?..

(yes i checked for leaks and vac. hoses that came off. cant figure it out.)

The cams are not making it over heat, I would say your fans are not properly working or the fan controller box has gone out which is located on the metal fan on the radiator.

yea i thought about that too. but when i turned the ac on the fans kick on and it didnt/doesnt help really? (possibly due to the fact that the car is already so hot).

but the fans turn on when the car gets hot too so i dunno whats up with it. any other ideas?

After i put cams (STOCK) back in my 90 eclipse the car ran hot and i changed everything like the radiator, thermostat, and slim fans. I actually traced to the exhaust side being 1 tooth off. After i fixed that the car didnt overheat. Dont ask me what the deal was, maybe just the plugs sparked too soon which made for an overheated exhaust or something so maybe double check your timing?

You would notice a loss in power if it was off a tooth.

Are you sure to have the accessory belt correctly installed?

really? I pulled my upper to get to the sensor on the ex side
I was gonna say the same thing as above though and to refill or burp the system if coolant was lost from pulling this out
