Thermocouples for air temp

I'm interested in purchasing some to be able to measure and log temp before and after the IC.

Does anyone know of a good place to get these?

Any recommendations in loggin them?

you can get air temp sensors from autozone. the pig tails as welli believe. no sense in buying actual thermocouple probes because then you'll need a thermocouple amplifier. you can log a standard intake air temp sensor through any data logging system that has inputs into it. zeitronix can run one (so running your diff temp wont work with zeitronix), innovate has a few loggers that will work for your aplication with multiple inputs. if your looking into race carloggers there are tons of options, all of which usually have their own sensor arrays you can buy directly from them (for huge markups too).

quick and dirty,,, craftsman has meters that have thermocouples that can be very well used to log temps, check ebay they have the leads and the meters.

search on google on how to put down a TC on a surface you have to have some thermal conductive tape to read correctly otherwise you will get inacurate readings
