Hey Project Tuning is our consultant on our Test Evo. He has fullfiled our every need in terms of EFI Turbocharged applications. Give him a shout here at his email.
sales@projecttuning.com
He's still working on his website because he stays so busy. But he can definately do whatever you might need for an Evo.
Welcome, I usually know everyone around this area. You need to come on down to Bham for one of our meetups. And you definately need our EPM O2 Housing..lol..seriously Matt at Project Tuning is a great guy with great abilities.

Not trying to bad mouth a shop as they are part of the local evoatlanta.com community, but topspeed's quality in customer service and tuning has gone down a lot. This was when I was looking at using them a little over a year ago when I live in GA, but was informed by a friend who was tuned by them (only put down 205 on their dynojet at 1st ) was then tuned by them and still only put down 225 or so after a tune (most stock 03's on their dyno put down around 250 or so). They basically refused to help him or verify the problem after he already spent 400 on the tune.
Also a friend of mine has blown a few engines due to an overly aggressive tune from them. I cannot comment whether he informed them to go really aggressive or if it was them on that matter.
Now with that said they seem to have picked up a bit as of late from recent reports and seem to be doing better with both customer service and tuning.
Now for shops I have worked with personally with my Evo in GA with good results. Dyno4mance tuned my car for 91 octane when I learned I was going to be moving out west. Very professional shop and a powerful and safe tune. I only lost 20hp going from the 93-91 octane switch. They use a DynoDynamics which is a very low reading dyno (stock Evo's put down 205). I made 252 AWHP after the tune for 91 octane and they helped me retune my car via emails to account for the altitude here in Reno.
Another shop that recently built a good friends AMS 2.3RR car would be Forged Performance. They normally work on 350z/G35, but have branched out into Evos/WRX/STi's with great results. They have built numerous 1000hp+ 350z's and my friend Evo with low boost on HTA37r and the above mentioned block made 460hp or so (they use a dynodynamics as well, very low reading).
Check out both shops at www.dyno4mance.com and www.forgedperformance.com. Also feel free to PM me with any info you may need.

Well from my recent experience at Topspeed as well as that from a freind of mine who has went there more than once. We have been very pleased with the outcome as well as the customer service, even with a 3 year old running around. I was very pleased.

I know this is a bit old but thought I would give my 2cents. If your still looking for a shop I highly recommend you give Forged Performance a try. I have dealt with Topspeed, Dyno4mance, and Forged and can say with confidence that Forged provides better customer service and quality of work. After dealing with all 3 shops I wont take my car anywhere else. Feel free to PM me aswell with any questions.

I can't comment on Forged but BBYEVOVIII has had good resluts with them. The other shops I'm not going to comment. Doug and Scott at Topspeed are great guys... their office manager needs some classes on how to return calls and how to really capture customer service... That alone pushes me away from that shop. Never returned phone calls, never followed up...sad really.
Why don't you track down Mellon tuning? I think he travel tunes and is in the area. Otherwise, IMHO I would just send my car up to good old Wakeman Ohio.

I'm not sure what they'll let me post here until I become a vendor, but hopefully they'll let me say that we have a new receptionist who is also a project manager in charge of improving our customer service.
Thanks,
Siegel
