Tuning / logger cable? What the hell do i have??

Ok, so i got this cable from a friend a while back for free. I'm trying to figure out what software i can use with it. Does it look familiar to anyone?

Please note the pins are facing you so they're directly OPPOSITE of what the pins on the OBD2 plug would be... comprende??

I will figure out which pins on the obd2 plug associate to which pins on the serial plug later if i need to.

Its probably not an RS232-JOBD2 connector.. Its more likely the cable from a scantool or one of the obd2 scanner modules.

If i remember correctly it was hooked to a 2g data logger.

I don't exactly care what it came from, i'd like to know what i can DO with it.

Possibly from PocketLogger?

If I remember correctly, that was the gender orientation (on the DB9 side) that my PocketLogger used.
