ECUTek is a reflash.. You mention getting it installed, Are you sure your not talking about a UTEC?
In either case The gains are hard to guess, we don't know how well your car was running with the S-AFC, but its likely it was getting a bit of knock, and not running optimum timing, so there would be a difference.
Once you have direct control of your fuel and timing maps, the gains will be quite a bit better with a good tuner.
Now here's the interesting thing, the AFC might actually not have been all that bad on power, the problem is the lack of control you have over timing as the adjustments indirectly affect airflow which alters the ECU's percieved load. Its just old school.
If you are indeed getting an ECUTek reflash, then you don't have to remove the AFC, just have them "Zero out" the settings.. as having it will allow some future adjustment should it be needed without having to reflash the ECU again.
Different dynos and even the same brand dyno in different shops will read differently, so its important to get a baseline before you make any changes so you can see the actual gains. I know of many people who were disappointed when they were originally dyno'ed at a shop with a high reading dyno, then tuned at another shop that read lower. The gains were there, but they were hooked on those numbers.
