Who is going to tune your flash? Thats a pretty ignorant comment if you ask me...
Ecutek with revolvers will be fine...

Al would probably do the flash. thanks for posting the nearest aem tuners, but i would still have to see if they have experience with the evo. ive seen enough threads on here where people have their car tuned by an aem tuner and then run into problems or constantly need retunes. im not saying everyone has this problem, but i just want my car to be as trouble free as possible. the aem would be the best choice for me if i can trust someone to tune it properly. my car is at buschur, but its hard for dave to tune it due to the difference in elevation (im at 6000+ft). i figure a flash would be best and most simple way, as i will only be running pump and alky. definitely interested in your thoughts.

Still you don't make any sense, it's sad you are at the mercy of the people who are trying to sell you something. An aem ems, properly tuned with a SPEED DENSITY conversion (MAP) will compensate for changes in elevation, no retuning necessary. So i don't understand david's reasioning for not being able to tune it. If this is true, the same argument would hold true for the reflash, IS AL going to come tune it in NM? Your telling me that you think a blind flash from AL based on your mods, will be better than a FULL tune from david buschur?

i know a guy that moved from D.C. to Denver and said his af went from 11 to 12. for my mods, aem seems to be right (2.3, stage 3 head, 30r), but i want to make sure its right for me. i just need one or two maps (pump, pump and alky). as you can see i dont have alot of tuning knowledge, so im looking for some help from people that have been in the same situation as myself. i dont want something that needs to be changed or retuned all the time. the ecutek seems nice, especially if it can tune revolver cams, i got comp 280s right now but want to upgrade to revolvers. al can flash my car either at buschur or in denver (i dont mind going up there as i have friends up there). i just want to see if the aem is for me and if its worth the extra money.

Yes. It is a good combo. I have seen good results from the set up personally. (We have them for $699 on sale right now.)

If you get a few more Evo's together, John@TTP-E and I would make the trip out. We can tune both techtom and Ecutek flashes which would make it easy to get 5 or more people together.
Here are this last weekends results:
