ECUTeK "Launch Control"

I was talking to Franz at KTR and I don't think ECUTeK represents their launch control program very well...from what Franz tells me it's a single stage program that is simply a "clutch-in rev limiter"? I was wondering how this varies from other launch controllers with other flashes/software. Any answers?

Well i dont know too much about them but since no-one has answered this thread, I have had the ecu-tek for bout 6months now and i lover it my launch control is set at about 5800. At the light i semi-slowly rev it there and hold it, green i try not to fully side step the clutch and lauches great. I had TOP-SPEED in Atlanta do mine. Give them a call 866-94speed. I probably didnt answer a damn thing you needed to know.... but they will.

I have it set at 5500k and build about 8-9psi off the line. Picks up good.

Let me revive this thread. I am having problems with mine. Not too long ago my launch control worked semi. It will ping off the limiter about 4-5 times and disappears and the car max revs. I only build about 6-7 psi where I used to build 10-12. I had a recent tranny/transfer Shep rebuild and ACT HDSS clutch installed. Both my clutch sensors are opening and closing as needed and my VSS is staying at 0 mph while engaging the 2-step. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS OR SIMILIAR PROBLEM?? Hard to picture a software glitch in the tune after car being disconnected from battery power after about two weeks. The car is running good and all gauges reading fine telling me I haven't lost my tune, just seem to have 2-step issue.

ecutek's "launch control" is not launch control at all, its simply a launch rev limiter, it has absolutly no control over your acceleration rate or tire spin like a real launch control setup would...

whoops missed your question and misinterpreted what you were bumping the thread for. if you have eliminated everything but the tune try reseting the ecu. you can send me a log file if you want, judging by your posts i assume you have some way to log.
