Re-flash prices?
I am going to begin my first stage of modifications for my EVO IX RS, and I will finish it off with an EcuTek Flash/Tune and then I will start my second stage of modifications, and I just wanted to know if customers using EcuTek Flashes have to pay full price for a re-flash? I know that EcuTek tuners have to charge a minimal of $650 for flashes with EcuTek, but I wondered if this includes re-flashes or just the initial flash?

Just the initial flash only. A encryption/unlocking fee gets paid to EcuTeK on the first flash. It is up to the EcuTeK tuner to price subsequent reflashes after that. Our pricing is $250 for flashes to an EcuTeK flashed car.

yes i know, but gruppes only charges 195 for a RE flash on ecu with the license already on it, TT charges 350. I'm saying, why the huge price difference??????????????????
im sorry, i meant W O W as in [350 = rip], hahaha i didn't mean its cheaper. i meant you guys are WAAAAAAAAAY cheaper for a reflash.

I charge $450 for ecutek reflash if you are not a customer of mine but have a license, it's $350 if you were previously flashed by me.
All with dyno time included of course

I sure hope at the prices listed above by various tuners, theres dyno time included in those reflashes!!
This is exactly why ecuteK should get on board with all these other great tuners and design a end user map switching.

$650 for initial tunes are worth every penny. Especially when your friends cannot steal your tune off your ecu with ecuflash.

$450 including the dyno. for Retune with existing ecutek license.
$450 for Non ecutek flash Including dyno, first time.
$400 for Non ecutek retune, including dyno.

I understand EcuteK will anounce somthing about the product! I called Ecutek the other day to ask if and when they will allow the end user controll! The person I spoke with told me they will realease more info next week! I didnt ask to many questions as I could tell he wasnt going to cough any info to a stanger asking questions. It would be nice to store my own maps that I paid 650 dollors for on my own computor! This ofcourse after the intial dyno,tune and licens fee!!650!!

so its a 650.00 fee for the ecutek license. what does that let me do, and its 290.00 for a custom Tune? Does that include the dyno time?
so ur looking at 940.00? thats not including dyno time maybe?

$650 for your initial flash. Including the tune.
Any subsequent flashes later on with more mods are the cheaper price.
This adds value to your ECU as you can trade it for a non-licensed ECU + cash down the line.
