30hp - 40hp to the wheels and that is pretty consistant from tuner to tuner. I am getting the dynoflash this weekend the cost is $450. $200 cheaper then ECUtek. I will let you know how the before and after feel.

IX tune
Well guys you need to go to the Vendor section and look up dyno flash. The was road tuned so the are no dyno graphs but i will explain the difference. Its a completely different car from 4k-7800. Just slightly more power from 2-3k makes it easy drive drive car with out being load cause I do have TBE. Back to the fun part this thing pulls so much harder then before its rediculous. With the flash and the few mods I have a stock IX isnt even in the same league when it comes to power. Oh did I mention gas mileage. I was getting 230 miles on a tank full now I getting 260. Unlike other fast cars M3,V8's ect. I am laughing to and from the pump.

So the difference is really noticeble, thats cool as I plan on getting my car tuned on ecutek this coming saturday. I dont know about you but I get 300miles per gas tank on my M3, which equals 27mpg according to the onboard computer. On the Evo I get about 240.

I made it to 280 miles before I had to fill up today. The M3 has a larger tank then the Evo. Your M3 must be better then the rest because from the factory 24mpg is the best you will get if you drove like a grandma on the fwy 55mph. My buddy has the exact same car and he says he averages about 19mpg

Oh. the difference is very noticeable. My car post flash is a animal from 4k-7800. It just pulls harder and harder all the way up. I have to be careful cause I get up to speed much faster. I would say post flash I am making as much power at 4500 as I used too at redline before the flash.

Naw man, I dont drive the M like a grandma, I cruise the fwy at 80mph, right at 3k rpms, but I dont get on it like I do on the Evo or Subie. Which by the way my WRX eats gas like if it was free, I only avereage about 15mpg. And I'm not saying that mine is better thant he rest all that I'm saying is how much miles per gallon I get. And no 24pmg is not the best, its only an everage on the testing that they do which can vary from vehicle to vehicle. And yes, the M3 has a much bigger tank than the Evo, so it does have more range, I however fill up at 1/4.
Thanks for the review on how the car feels tuned. I now feel much better going in to get mine tuned as well, although I've been thinking of adding a DP and a catback.

For sure you should get a TBE with a highflow cat and an airfilter before you do the tune. The #'s for the average IX with those mods are between 290-300 on mustang dyno, but without the mods they are getting 260-270.
