EcuTek flash - checksums

Quick question for EcuTek tuners or those that might know...

I had heard from various posts that the Techtom flash alters the checksum totals (and maybe the software revision level name, not sure) on the stock ecus, especially (or perhaps only) on the 05+ models. Thus, dealers, or anyone with the ability to scan the ECU software level, can see that an aftermarket flash had been performed...

Does the EcuTek software do this as well?

One of the best things I like about some of the piggyback units is that once you take them off, there is no trace of engine management modifications. I know this isnt possible with the Techtom software, but am wondering about EcuTek now.

Thanks.

The check sum will also change with the Ecutek flash

I have not seen it as an issue what so ever with my customers
