ECUFlash connection problems

So all of the sudden when I try to flash my car I get:

[22:21:24.234] sending init sequence 1 (0001)
[22:21:27.437] sending init sequence 1 (0003)
[22:21:30.656] sending init sequence 1 (FFFF)
[22:21:33.359] no response to any known code
[22:21:33.359] interface close

Anyone know why this started happening?

battery

sounds like low battery voltage. Check your battery.

Its new (about 7 months) red top. We did get into the 20 degree weather for the last two days, and voltage is usually lower then, so maybe it can be battery voltage.

you should have the car on a battery charger while flashing

One day I decided to flash my car the battery voltage was so low ecuflash wouldnt even see the tactrix cable. (I barely use my car) So i do believe that a good charged battery is needed. But like Kanyonkid said let it run for little while rebuild a good charge ... If that fails maybe reinstall ecu flash

Thanks guys. Will try later today. Kind of had a feeling it might be that since it logs fine.

That would be my best guess as well. Just run the car for a few minutes first.

Yup. That's what it is. So I guess 20 degree weather and a relocated battery in the trunk causes some greater voltage drop. Never before had this issue in spring or summer.
