FIC 1050cc Injector latency and scaling

I have searched and have not come up with much on the FIC 1050cc injector latencies and scaling on pump gas. I'm about to install my set in prep for my new FP Green HTA73 i have coming. I can't seem to find much info on how people are scaling these injectors with pump gas. There is some info regarding the use of e-85, but i'm not going to be running this awesome fuel(don't have any E-85 stations anywhere near me).

So, if you guys could please help me out. This will also help other in the same boat.

I used an injector scaling 1008 cc/min when running gasoline and 731 cc/min when running E85 (about 75% ethanol).

If you run into warm start issues, try lowering the 4.7 V latency value. If that doesn't help, then watch the ECUFlash forum for a post I'll be putting up in about a week.

I installed my FIC 1050's today, plugged in some numbers and found that i love the FICs! They respond extremely well to my setting changes and once i got them dialed in(took about 30 mins), i couldn't tell they were not stock! This is great news, because i have tuned LOTS of injectors(in many different cars) and ran into a TON of different issues.

I honestly have to say, i'm very impressed with the FIC offerings and i'm glad i went with FIC for my personal whip.

Oh and uh, side note: I said in the first post that i had a FP Green HTA73 84mm coming. I changed my order to a FP Red 84mm at the last minute....so, the Red should be here soon.

i found mrfreds latencies to work the best for me. as for scaling i went with the value closest to what the ACTUAL flow rate was that fic sent me . 1083 didnt trow off my trims and they were pretty close to the actual flow measured by fic before they shipped it out to me

Well, the FICs are really amazing me right now. I seriously cannot tell these are not stock injectors regarding drivability, responsiveness to tune adjustments....etc.

Thanks bro. I was really torn between the Red and the HTA Green. But, after debating over and over again, i knew the Red was the better choice.

I'm still on the stock bottom end and didn't want to make too much torque, too early, while sacrificing top end power. So, the Red was the natural choice, but i did debate over the Black as well. In some ways, i kinda wish i had gone with a Black.

I really think the Red is going to shine though. I'm not looking to make more than 420-450awtq and no more than about 500awhp(which ain't gonna happen on 93 pump anyway). I will NOT be using meth. Going to tune for 93 pump, Sunoco 100 pump and maybe 110 or the like leaded race fuel.

Regardless, i can't wait to yank out my stock 2005 VIII.5 turbo. Fun days ahead.
