96532706 Problem

hi folks, i tried converting my friends evo 8 (96530006) to the 96532706.the flash went fine and the car starts and runs but when trying to move off the car bogs down badly.we then tried 96530706 and this worked fine no problems.iv read a couple of posts with similar problems but seems there are no difinitve answer.
any suggestions welcome.
