Quick Periphery Bits/lean spool question

Okay. two things.

First, I dont have the ECU periphery bits in my .xml for 96420008 (my ROM)or my reg. evo7bae.xml. Now after searching around, I read that the 9 and 8 bits (.xml wise) are the same and I can copy the Periphery Bits info from my evo9base xml and use it for Evo 8 xml's. Is this correct??

Next, though my searching I seemed to have found two different bits labeled as "lean spool". they are FBA bit 7 and FBA bit 0.

I think FBA bit 0 is right, but dont know for sure.

TIA

The names of the Peripheries (FAA, FBA, FCA, etc.) are the addresses these bytes live in the ROMs. All modern Evo's use these same addresses (and thus, the same names). So, in short, yes, they are interchangeable.

FBA bit 0 is Lean Spool On/Off. I don't know what FBA bit 7 is.

FBA bit 0 is Lean Spool On/Off. I don't know what FBA bit 7 is.
Thx for clarifying. Thats what I though, but I like to make sure first.
