AEM 30-5130 gauge serial hookup...

The AEM gauge I have is a new addition to their product line and there are no instructions for attaching it to a serial cable for logging. I already know that the majority of gauges are connected + signal to pin 2 and ground to pin 5. My system lists the wires as positive signal and - signal, not ground.... so I am not sure if they would be connected to the same pins as other AEM products. I have asked on the AEM forums as well as here. Hope to get an answer soon. I know that in less than 24 hours I will say "screw it" and hook it up that way to see if it works.... just hoping for confirmation that this is the correct pinout before hand
