Idle Stability Control Table Q's

Quote:
The Idle stability control is this.....

<table name="Idle Stability Timing Control" category="Timing" address="174e" type="2D" level="2" scaling="uint16">
<table name="Settings" type="Static X Axis" elements="3">
<data>Sensitivity</data>
<data>Timing Limit</data>
<data>Untested</data>
</table>
</table>
Ok, so in my timing map I have 0~1000k RPM and 0~50 load set at 11*.
I have the Idle Stability table set to 148 sensitivity and 8* by 8*.

Can somone please explain the Idle Stability Table, mostly refrencing the timing control fields. Timing Limit and Untested are the two fields that are a little confusing. I guess i see that having both set to different degree's could be confusing to the ECU, or are they unrelated?

Heres a screen shot;

Thanks in advance

I noticed that the first timing (not the unknown one) does limit the timing fluctuation if you reduce the number. In doing so I also discoverd that my car did not respond well to the change.

From what I can tell this is the amount of timing that can be added or subtraced to maintain a stable idle. I leave it at 8.

As for the sensitivity, I noticed that anything over 150 seems to cause problems with idle. I set mine at 146.

Wish I could do more, but I just test the stuff to see how it works. Your idle will stablize a tad better with a sensitivity number around 145ish.
