EvoScan: 0% throttle = 13.73???

is this normal? when i'm at 0% throttle (decel, etc), my log shows 13.73. does this mean my TPS is not calibrated right or is it normal?
i show 100% when i'm actually at 100%... but if it's calibration is off... then it's gonna show 100% when i'm NOT.

i have no way to drive and watch the log.. nor do i have anyone to go with me while i tune, otherwise i'd know that way.

so. thought i'd ask. anyone?

thats normal. You could go and adjust the tps sensor and try and get a couple more degrees out of it but really its not gonna much a difference,

If the TB is at 0 when you let the gass the car will shut down. You need some air (and fuel) for the car to idle.

As long as it displays 100% when the peddle is fully depressed, it's within it's operation envelope. The actual position at idle fluctuates between cars in my experience. Mine reads 15.2% or something like that at idle.

VERY wrong. The throttle plate should ALWAYS close fully when you let go of it. Its the Idle Air Control valve that regulates the amount of air that gets inside the engine when the throttle plate is closed. The ECU has NO CONTROL over the throttle plates position, its 100% mechanical.

To the OP, its within normal range but you CAN adjust the TPS sensors position so you get the full 0-to-100% swing.

Care to elaborate on how to do this? I have adjusted my TPS several times after Throttle body swaps and never have I been able to get the full swing from 0-100% I'm not saying it can't be done, I would like to know how. I've always thought that you adjust the TPS so that it just shows 100% when holding the throttle wide open and verifying that the throttle plate is actually all the way open. After doing this it always comes down to a 13.5x% for me.

Proper adjustment (factory) is 13.33% but I have seen as high as 14.0%. 13.5% sounds about right, the main thing is getting it in the goldilocks zone.
