confused with load and RPM scales

Firstly hello everyone, this is my first post on these forums. I've been on here a little bit but never signed up - i just read a lot of stuff.

I've watched recomplies video tutorials of how to of tuning and i've read a fair few beginner posts etc.

Anyways, i got my cable today and as you do i hooked it up and downloaded my factory JDM 8 MR rom.

i opened up the fuel map and this is what i saw.

from all the other screenshots i've seen, the load and RPM are a much more Linear scale, mine seems to be all over the shop.

am i missing something? do i need to change how/where it is getting these values from.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

before anyone asks, i've got my Y axis scaling set on 'RPM' and X axis on 'Load'

for some reason though, it's registed the map as an evo7base when it's an 8, will that have any effect?
