So basicly the only way to do this is to uninstall everything and reinstall an older version?

I have now used four different cables:
GigaWire from radioshack
Dynex from Bestbuy
Seriolo from Ebay
Belkin from Computer Store

None of them work they all do the same thing log for a few frames and then get stuck on the on reading. It has to be something with Evoscan, because it is working fine it hyperterminal. This really starting to get annoying. I guess I will go ahead and spend another $40 and get a Keyspan. A couple more bucks and I could have bought another Accessport.

I had a shop move my wideband and I started getting this error. It has to do with the serial cable. I'm having them look into the problem today. I'll let you all know exactly what the problem was/is

Drives: 04' GSR

After I switched to the new version of Evoscan my AEM uego stopped logging correctly.

It will work for 2 to 5 seconds then the AFR value shown on Evoscan freezes up.

I wish I never installed the newest version of EVOSCAN........

The new beta works for me, first time i have ever had luck with the uego and evoscan. No issues what-so-ever.

I had the same problem... I had a MircoDevices USB to Serial cable with the exact same issue. After buying the Tactrix USB to Serial cable, works no problem. I recommend buying the cable directly from Tactrix... about $27 with shipping.

I have the one from "The Shack" and it has worked fine from day one. Although, now I just use the rear O2 input for logging most of the time.

There is a thread on here somewhere that has suggestions on which USB to Serial cables work. I have had success with the dytex ones. $6 shipped on ebay, can't go wrong.
