i think i am really looking into this too much and confusing everyone!!

to clear it up the pigtail has 2 wires! the harness running to the MAF, branches off into two clips with 2 wires each these connect to the OEM boost solenoid.......

damn this is confusing, i need to get some pics!
If you have the one in the picture above then you should just plug it in and splice nothing. If you have a harness the same as the write up that everyone references to then you cut the factory connecter off the stock bcs and splice the new harness to that. What is the difficult part?

I think because he has a JDM model he has the twin solenoid setup which is standard on them and as far as im aware none of the American cars come with the twin boost solenoids.

Drives: a laptop connected to your ECU.

If it is a twin solenoid model, I would tap it into the primary solenoid harness, not the secondary passive solenoid. Keep the passive solenoid plugged in though.

Not having a JDM to look at here can you check the vacuum lines and see which solenoid runs to the wastegate? Or do both of them run to the wastegate?

It would have been a lot easier to help you if you didn't cut off the cables and remove the solenoids. When i get home i'll go through the circuit diagrams and try dicipher the mess.

Just for my own reference what are the color patterns on the wires?

ie: red/white, blue/white

The color codes in my service manual are Red/yellow and light green for the solenoid. I hope that's the only color combination in there.
