Hamish, I have downloaded and tried the v2.7beta 5 on my X RS . Data etc all works well on my Windows XP laptop. However it hangs the program if I try the DTC/reset function. Has this function been enabled yet, or is it still work in progress ?

I have also noted the air/coolant temps are always 59 degrees. I have an ASpec Evo X RS, ( with the EDM rom ?).

Cheers Mike

I haven't been enabled for read/clear dtc for EvoX, its enabled for evo7/8/9, I am just working on it at the moment, it will take a bit more testing. always 59deg in mode23? or in normalCAN EvoX ? what about CAN OBDII what does it read on that?

Hamish, in the normal Can EvoX mode... I havent quite got as far as mode 23, and I will check on the Can OBD11 mode. It will be great when the DTC mode works, as it pains me to pay Mitsubishi to "help"me.

Hammish do you have any idea why my low/mid/high fuel trims do not change, but o2 trim does change? My pocket logger seems to work, but the trims are represented a little differently. There is LTFT, STFT, and o2 trim. My car is a 2000 eclipse if that makes a difference.

Also, I tested some of the actuators the other day, and they worked great. Thanks for all the hard work!

Hi all,

I just upgraded to Win7, and copied my Data.xml and Evoscan.xml to the Evoscan folder in Win7. However, I noticed Evoscan is not picking up the data from the XML !

E.g. Injector Scaling stubbornly stays at 513 or watever I set, despite the XML showing a different values.

Any idea why ?

Evoscan GPS v1.6

Hi all,

Has anyone got Evoscan GPS version 1.6 software? I have tried to get it from the Evoscan GPS site but it has been down for weeks. Could someone kindly send it to me?

Cheers,
Rift.

Hamish, have you fixed the UEGO issues with it stopping the log due to some operation errors?

Is there any chance that EVOSCAN will be able to log MAF G/Sec (similar to how the COBB AP) can for the EVO X?

It would be easier to do MAF scaling.

I have a couple of issues right now. The first is with v2.6 in general. I have a somewhat messed up data.xml and I cannot seem to get rid of it. I have tried uninstalling evoscsan then blowing away the directory that is left, blowing away the directory then uninstalling what is left and just deleting the data.xml and replacing it. None of that works and I always end up with the same data.xml. I even tried replacing it with another clean data.xml which turned into the messed up data.xml in the evoscan folder but when I copied it back to its source folder it became a clean xml again. I am completely at a loss as to how to fix that. I'm running vista64 if that helps.

Secondly I tried running 2.7b5 because I have the UEGO hang issue with 2.6, the UEGO works great with 2.7b5 but I am completely unable to get maptracer to work whatsoever. If I open the same log in 2.6 it works perfectly. This is with a TephraV7 rom with big maps. The map shows in the right scaling but I cannot get any information to show up at all.

Finally, is there a way to get expand the physical spacing of the maptracer tables? With all of the extra cells on my 1600x900 screen I end up with the cells being squished to the point where numbers with decimals are overlapping side to side but the lower map is falling off the bottom of the screen.

Edit: I went back through looking for older v2.7 betas but it looks like they've been taken down. Can anyone point me toward a version they've kept around? In the short term I just need to be able to log my UEGO and use maptracer, the rest of my issues are secondary.

Yeh I use:

AirFlow:0x8087d8:2:x,2,*,100,/:3

That's for 53040010, should be + or - 6 for USDM GSR
