I think that I know the answer to this question but I will throw the question to be sure.

Do I have to have the closedloop enable for this patch to work?

I am not sure if the patch is built around the closedloop routine or as an independent one.

Since we are moving to a general EVO 8 ROM (96530006), can we get a patch for this ROM? I'd love to be able to increase my E-85 MPG!

Thanks,

+1 For a 96530006 Patch ROM with V5.10 mods! All EVO8 and DSMers are moving to this ROM with Tep mods.

I will send beer money right away

ok, there seems to be enough interest. It will probably be a month before I can get to it though.

Closed Loop with Wideband

I know your always busy with lots of good stuff, but any hope that you might try to release a EVO 8 rom with this closed loop control? 96530706 seems to be the evo 8 rom of choice!

Thanks for your time!

This would be cool if it could come out on the next tephra 9653 rom. I drive A LOT. About 5000 miles in the last month and a half. I'm already managing 30+mph highway, but any additional mpg would be sweet.

^^Glad to see another DSMer wants closed loop WB.

I just broke my NB sensor so I have been running open loop when I remembered seeing Mrfred's work on this a few months ago.

I want to try this out very badly. One question though. I am running the 88590715 V7+mods, so what parts would need to be excluded because I know stuff like the rear o2 sim is already in my current rom?

I'm interested in this too, since I also have the rear o2 input set up for logging wideband.

I'm getting way too impatient. I may just wire my lc-1's narrowband sim to the front o2 for now until this comes out for V7.

Isn't 14.7 idle/cruise a little tooooo rich for e85? I know 14.7 on 93 is mainly for emissions and all and I'd like to lean it out for better mpg, but wouldn't the engine run better overall if it were leaner?
