These are probably what you're looking for:
Code:
<table name="ECU Periphery00 Hex" category="Periphery" address="f9a" type="1D" level="2" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="ECU Periphery0 Hex" category="Periphery" address="faa" type="1D" level="2" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="ECU Periphery1 Hex" category="Periphery" address="fba" type="1D" level="2" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="ECU Periphery2 Hex" category="Periphery" address="fca" type="1D" level="2" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="ECU Periphery3 Hex" category="Periphery" address="fda" type="1D" level="2" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="ECU Periphery4 Hex" category="Periphery" address="fea" type="1D" level="2" scaling="Hex16"/>
You'll need to manually work out the change in value for each bit you want to enable or disable.

Thanks logic...well so far I know for the EGR tests I need to change Periphery2 (fca) to EDDF and Periphery4 (fea) to B980 to completely disable it, but I'm stumped on what I need to change Periphery1 (fba) to to disable leanspool.
Any one?

To disable lean spool, Periphery1 goes from 0x0009 -> 0x0008.

What difference of setup is in periphery between EDM rom`s and USDM rom`s?

I know that in US there is EGR test or something like that.

In EU we don`t have this test. We go and they introduce some sensor into the exhaust and they read the CO2. So since there is no cat under the car.....this is a big problem for me.

Do I must close some fields into periphery as lean spool or EGR or....whatever?

Im using common setups.

Except P003 cell...is there any other option to do using periphery to disable it or enable it for EDM cars?

Thanks

mrfred and others. today was the day that i had to smog my car. i was really nervous but it passed fine.. all but one part. when they went hookup to the cars ecu (obd2 port) they said they could not read it at all. i have not tried to hook up the laptop yet. but would changing the periphery values prevent them from being able to hook up to the computer?.. i have p0300 disabled and that's all.. other then that i cannot figure out why they couldn't connect.. anyone have any ideas?

I've never had any problem connecting to the OBD-II protocol using ScanTech. Have you tried ScanTech or gone to AutoZone/Napa/etc to have them try to read OBD-II using one of their scanners?

Do you have a "vendor" tune on the car?

LOL There actually is a Periphery bit that disables the OBD-II communications, I had stumbled across the bit when I was experimenting with the settings from Euro cars to figure out how to disable some of the functions and tests. Good thing you discovered it was basically nothing

So is there a list of periphery bit descriptions in a thread that are kept current as we learn new ones? I saw the list cossie made but I noticed the lean spool was set for bit7 instead of bit0 so it made me wonder if there is a centralized location where the list is kept current?

I think it's mostly spread around right now. Ideally, we'd get it documented on the wiki, and eventually get them integrated into EcuFlash's XML in a future release.

Thats what i have, maybe everybody adds, what he's got.
I will add it to the wiki when nothingnew is coming.

It's good when everybody adds comments to each bit,
if you know the the functions. just names are sometimes
not enough to understand what it does.

just quote the stuff below and make you changes.
