nevermind I figured it out, I had to move the evoscan program folder from program files x86 to my documents. seems likes under x86 it was read only. I removed it from read only and even as an admin it went back to read only by default when it was under program files x86

Have a few questions or opionions in this case. I bought my car a year ago with everything it has on it now im kinda a noobie but learning much. It is an 03 evo. when i bought it i was running 22 psi with stock piping which it has now but was blowing hose clamps left and right and of course i had a boost leak. I slapped some tbolts on it and nothin is budging until i get hard piping. But i took it for a spin after i put the clamps on and im pullin 25psi...and im not fuel cutting one freakin bit..??? Do you think my ecu was flashed before i got it?

I have a very dumb question, today is my first day messing with the ECU. When i flash the ecu with the JDM map settings, will it still be there if i disconnect and reconnect the car battery? I'm trying to get rid of my CEL from the TP by adding foulers.

Yeah, I don't have a UEGO but from what I have been told/read it was working in v2.7 Beta 2 or 3, but is broken again in the latest version v2.7 Beta 5 (or was working in the latest beta, but map tracing was not or something like that).
If I were you, I would log a support ticket:

Yes, whatever you program into the ECU's flash memory will still be there if you disconnect and reconnect the battery.

Just drop the EvoScan Data.XML file into the DataSettings directory e.g. C:\Program Files\EvoScan\EvoScan v2.7\DataSettings
