Drives: Evo7 GSR

Not only that, the MAS translation, MAS clamp and map switching are impressive too.

I just set the second set of switchable maps to be my backup for an overboost event. I have it set to dump in fuel and pull some timing across the board dynamically if, say, a WG line ever pops off. This is amazing, since I lost OE boost control in going with an MBC. This thing is a startling value! Everyone pick one up!

Actually the over boost protection is still there even with out the ECU controlling the boost, if you exceed the load for a given RPM the ECU will cut fuel, I still like the map switching feature though.

right you are, lol but I never considered fuel cut to be an option for overboost control on the road course. I know something is wrong if I go down to 9.5:1 and lose 5 degrees timing across the board, lol I don't need to hit a brick wall going through a turn at 95mph. lol, trust me, I did that once, the GM MAF fragged and I hit fuel cut just after leaving the apex so I was WOT... lol then I was off in the grass on the inside of the turn almost into the tire wall.

The ecu+? yes, it is installed right behind the glove box. There is a cross member there that I zip-tied it to. I used the PnP harness, lol best idea ever.
