Swapping front ECU
I'm looking into a running issue on the Evo, and was wondering if its possible to just swap over the front ECU in the fuse box. Is it coded like the ECU in the dash or would there be any possible issue from just swapping them.

Which controller is it? You should be able to swap any of the control modules without making changes except for the ECU and Immobilizer Module. If its the ABS/EBD, ACD, AYC modules, it should not pose a problem.

BTW This is the wrong forum for that.. It should go into one of the Evo troubleshooting forums, this is for a product called ECU+
