Tactrix-compatible firmware update available

I have a minor firmware update now available for the ECU+ silver box owners. This update modifies the firmware in such a way that you can now use the Tactrix cable alongside the ECU+ without disconnecting the ECU+'s OBD-II wire. This lets you use software like EcuFlash while still retaining the ECU+'s current OBD-II (and future MUT-II) support. This change will be rolled into future software and firmware updates, but for now I wanted to make this patch available to existing customers so they don't have to wait.

E-mail me at support@ecuplus.com to get the update.

Thanks to Ivan C for testing this out for me.

No - that's a massive change. This is just a quick patch for those using the EcuFlash software.

This is great news.. I used to use the switch back and forth, every so often I'd forget to switch it and boggle myself, once in awhile, I couldn't get either to initialize in either position (presumably the ECU got confused)

Can't wait to see all the new features, the ECU+ is going back into my car after the rest of my UTEC testing is done..

I don't think the update is ready for beta testing yet.. I would have heard from him if it was.

OOPS, brain fart, your looking for the one for the passthrough so you can use the tactrix cable..
