ECU+ for logging only?

I currently run a ecutek tune that really just does'nt cut it for me. No user tuning, no updates. I am going to switch over to ecuflash when my next set of mods go in. My question is should I be looking at ECU+ for it's powerful logging capabilities even though I am not terribly interested in using a piggy back to tune with. Do you guys think that it would be overkill and I should stick with mitsulogger or something of the like? I like the ECU + support of the AEM wideband as well. Could any ECU+ users chime in on how they primaily use it.

It will work very well, but I don't know if it is worth the cost for just logging. That's how I use mine though. Tom needs to think about building an ECU Plus logger without the timing/fuel correction abilities.

This came up in conversation with him in the past. I think his response to me was that there was very little if any difference in the cost to produce a unit thats a logger only..

There are features currently that you can benefit from in addition to logging, such as using a GM MAF sensor as a blowthrough, and whatnot, its already built in. Tweaking is what the ECU+ is great at, if you have troublesome fuel trims you can't resolve, its easy to fix with it... among other things..

Plus he has a whole list of stuff he's working on now that he resolved a troublesome P0300 glitch he was chasing for the last year.
