Yea, how 'bout that? The guy working out of his spare bedroom beats HKS and GReddy to the punch.

I figure I'll be getting a call from Turbo Magazine tomorrow for a feature article in next month's issue. Oh wait... I forgot - Autometer has a new bulb color for their boost gauge. I guess they'd better cover that instead.

Heh, I feel for ya, I have a similar situation with my car, it probably has the most unique combination of parts and technology, but I have yet to get the car featured in anything... Heck I have one of the only functional Ford Cobra blowthrough setups that actually works on the Evo.. I guess you need to have an ugly stereo box in the trunk to get anything covered in a performance magazine nowadays.

Whats worse is..
First working aftermarket maf setup on the Evo
First aftermarket ignition system (I got ridiculed by big tuners for even suggesting it at the time, now its commonplace)
I arranged to import the first CN-04 Field harnesses into the country for the Evo
I was tuning one of the first UTECs for the Evo sucessfully

I like being on the leading edge of the curve, unfortunately for us, being on the leading edge means your overlooked later on when the "big guys" come along and make a big deal of their not-so-unique new product..

You have one of the most flexible products available right now, and the best logging, people will find that out and see is value..

If I do manage to get a car featured, I will point out I run the ECU+ though.. Even though its only for the 8...

You forgot vynil graphics, a giant drift wing, ridiculous canards, all show no go suspension setup, and a wanna be porn star begging for the attention dady never gave her bent over the fender showing her underage arse

Jack, I have to say I have gotten more sounds advice from reading your posts over the past couple years than anywhere else, including calling manufacturers for support.

Guys like you and Tom are a credit to the grass roots community. I know some people just want to go spend a wad of cash and go from stock to 450whp overnight without ever turning a wrench, but that is not me. I enjoy the process and doing the work myself when ever possible and I have learned a great deal in the process thanks to folks like you.

Way to go Tom, I picked up a used ECU+ v2 for my 8 this past weekend.... just waiting on it to show up so I can get busy.
