New P0300 fix beta available
I have a new hunk of beta firmware available that should (famous last words) fix the P0300 problem with the ECU+ and the EVO. If you're interested in trying it out, send an e-mail to support@ecuplus.com with your silver box head unit's serial number. (The serial number is on the Miscellaneous tab of the Head Unit Settings screen.) I sent this out last night to a bunch of folks who had previously expressed interest, so if you didn't get an e-mail, then I probably don't have your current e-mail address.

Is this the latest dealer flash or something different? I got the P0300 every 2 weeks then got a dealer flash and have had zero issues for about 5 weeks now.

It might. There'll be another beta in a few days, so send me an e-mail and let's find out. It'd be pretty cool if it did, eh?

Definitely not right now. This was a major rewrite (it's months of work), and I need to see if it's even possible to back-port to the black box units. I'm thinking it's probably not do-able, as the new firmware uses more CPU speed (the silver boxes are 2x faster) and uses a dedicated CPU input that the black box doesn't have.
