A/D Channel Input Processing Question

ADC Input Processing - Guru Help Requested!
I'm working on my disassem of 96530706 annotating as I go. Got stumped when trying to understand how A/D channels 1-15 are read and moved into RAM for further processing. I need help from someone who understands the A/D input processing pathway who can point me in the right direction. (mrfred, acamus, logic, ast, donner, merlin, tephra)
For example, if I follow the analog signal from my flexfuel sensor, (wired on ADC_0F), into memory; I think I have found where the hardware registers for ADDR15H/L are written by the A/D Converter, in sub_b6a8, to H'FFFFF826. I can't figure out how the data gets moved from the hardware registers into lower RAM:H'FFFF8951, or moved to ROM:H'0003640C, a.k.a. MUT_83.
If you can give me an overview of the ADC input processing pathway from sensor to hardware register, to RAM variable and on to ROM variable, I can probably figure it out. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
