Cant find correct definition file

As the title says. I can't find it. I downloaded the latest version of ecuflash, and looked through the rommetadata for an 03 Evolution MT and can't locate it. I am doing something wrong?

If you can tell us what the ROMID is we may be able to help you better.

I don't have my tactrix cable yet. So I can't tell you what my rom id is. Once I get it, I will let you know, or I maybe able to figure it out then.

Just so you know, none of the XML files in the metadata folder contain anything that says 2003 Lancer Evo. When you get your cable and download the rom you will be able to view it, that is assuming it is a factory rom and not a Tephra Rom.

The Tactrix cable will not help you find the ROMID, post the ROM up you are having trouble reading and someone will likely be able to help you.

He doesn't have access to his stock ROM yet. I'd assume he's just trying to learn ahead of time.

Hello I am not a stranger to tunning with dsm link, but I am having trouble with my 2003 EVO 8, my issue is that I can get the ROM to load with ecuflash but I am getting an error saying there's no associated xml file that will allow me to open the ROM or save it. I have since made changes to the car and the tune needs attention. The car was tunned by top speed in ATL prior to me owning it if that matters. I just want to be able to save whats there as a reference point to go back to if I mess up along the way. I have ensured that I have the updated software and searched for the XML files was unable to find anything to work. Am I missing something?

The car probably has a tephra Rom on it so you need to download the xml for tephra roms and stick it in your rommedata folder and then I bet it will read it.

Need some help again guy's. Hopefully this is the correct thread to discuss.
I read my Rom from the Ecuflash : using metadata XML ID 88570008 which inherits XML ID evo9base. This is a IX JDM Evo.
I need to make some changes to the Rom but it seems that I have the wrong definition file, because every time I make changes to the timing maps automatically changes the wastegate duty.
Anyway, the car tuned 6 months ago, and tuner won't give me or tell me what definition file he used to tuned my car.

So my question is how do I know what is the right definition? I try to copy/paste tephra v7 but it won't open.
In tephra's page 88570008 still coming soon...so can I use tephra v7 in some way to open the rom file I have now with the correct map numbers, or do I have to do it from the beginning?

I have attached the rom if you guy's want to try.

Thank you

I pulled my rom image off the ecu last night. I have 94170008. I want to upgrade to 94170015. I need to add a mut table for evoscan though. I tried to add the table to the 0015 by looking up the romid in rommedata folder. I copied and pasted the correct xml files, with the correct mut address.

When I go to open up the 0015 file in ecuflash, the mut table is still not there? What I am doing wrong?
