Help, Issue With Turning! Loud Bang

hey guys, still new to the site, ive had my evo 8 for about a year and some change now, bought it bone stock, did a hotchkis lowering kit full exhaust, etc etc nothing major. Well the other day ive noticed now that when i make a turn the wheel almost seems to stick (like it doesnt want to straighten it self out) then a loud bang occurs then the steering seems to be alright again. Now mind you, when i am in the turn as it makes the noise, the back wheel on the side in which im making the turn almost seems to "hop" like its not fully flat on the ground. the "hopping" i would say only seems to be noticed when i am in slow turns with windows down tring to listen for it, yet there is a damn good possibility that it could happen all the time, and id assume so. im now at a loss for whats going on, if anyone has any ideas id greatly apreciate it. or if they have already experinced this. also if this issue has already been discussed and i missed it while looking on here, id like to apologize in advance. thanks

could be a broken or improperly seated spring. the strut cap may not have been aligned properly during spring install.

yep could cause it to stick due to spring tension then it pops when you turn. there is a hole in the top of the strut cap that has to be aligned with the hole in the bottom of the strut where the spring sits. if they are off then spring geometry will be off and cause it to bang when you turn the steering wheel. hope this points you in the right direction.
