Cable Bushings, metal vs urethane

Anyone have experience with both the metal bushings AND the urethane versions? I still have some sticky action occuring after installing an agency power short shift, works cable bushings, and kartboy console bushings. Its slow to get back to center and doesnt quite "click" into gear like other shifters ive experienced. Any light would be appreciated.
