Used.

You can't really tell with out measuring plates with calipers and checking floater and pressure plate for straightness.

Typical Rebuild consists of:
-Replacing Pressure plate if not straight
-Replacing floater if not straight
-Replacing Carbon if disc are worn too much. (The nice thing is you can reuse them if not overly worn.)
-Machining flywheel if not straight
-Machining the basket to manufacture spec. due to carbon discs and wear.
-over all checking for any weird stress including cracks and large heat marks. Then replacing what need replacing.

Great clutch btw.. I have a tripple and love it.

Hi guys!

I agree with awboosted! You need to measure the disks thickness in order to determine its remaining life. Also look for cracks and hot spots. I have a twin and I love it.

BTW... Any idea on where to get a rebuild kit? PM me or respond to this thread.

Drives: a soon to be built FORCE-FED PERFORMANCE beast...

^^ +2... friggin love this thing.. have a twin also. and hey JOEDR - check out Mynes in Phoenix, they may be able to help you out.. just letting you know, the replacement parts on this thing is pricey. ~$500 per disc... but I have heard of only 2 owners replacing these things in the past 2 years. so worrying about cost when they have been driving these things into the ground is prolly not a big deal.. I have almost 20K miles on mine, with at least 10 laps around the ring and multiple TA. No slipping whatsoever at about 340/340 whp/tq

I talked to them and they are not using Carbonetic anymore. Mine got about 10K with mild street driving and daily driving w/o no issues. I am at the 400+ WHP and over 360 TQ w/o any issues.

I heard that ATS is about to discontinue the clucth... Is this true? That is why I am looking to get a rebuild kit. I heard only a few folks replacing the disks after a LOT of abuse to this clutch. BTW... I bought mine used with less than 100 miles for 850.00 (weird story and it was a freind of mine). So, I can not complaint. :-)
