We have a customer that did our driveshaft upgrade by itself and shows 2-3mph gains in the 1/4 mile on a 120mph trapping car.. For more info..

That looks great! What else do you think I could do to improve my 1/4 mi times? I gutted my car and got it down to 2990 lbs. I have not bolted on any weight savings products yet. I also use my car as a DD.

You might as well think about swaping brake rotors for lighter ones. Ultimately it is the same efect since the driveshaft and the rotors play a big role on motion and drivetrain lose.

Rotational mass is huge. The rule of thumb is for every 1 pound of rotational mass removed is like taking 3 pounds out of your car.

This is correct and increases even more if your removing the weight from a large rotational part like a wheel or tire.. Lightening The furthest part from the hub of the wheels yields the greatest gains..

And since AWD's Alu d/s is nearly 16lbs off, that equates to trimming 48lbs out of the car. It's a noticeable difference. From pulling out to screaming down the highway wot in 5th gear. It also kills a mount and knocks a lot of the jerky slop out of the car. Well worth the investment.

Yeah, +1^^. I have the AMS carbon drive shaft and, while I didn't dyno it afterwards, I could definitely feel the difference on the street. It kinda felt like the turbo spools a couple hundred rpm earlier. It's not but the response at the wheels is increased for sure.
