Actually he does have proof, but he lives in Puerto Rico...does that count as US? Not sure what a territory counts as...

ya, this guy definitely has the claim. his car looks frickin' tite under the hood; definitely nice work done to it.
and i'd say puerto rico counts as U.S., wouldn't you?
Just wait 'til RRM comes public with their Stage 2 though

Man, I almost moved this thread. The first 3 posts are completely useless. Glad to see it has SOMETHING of merit now.

The Fastest Lancer in the World
This record was done by D.O.T approved tires.
My car is completely of street. (with all the seats and the interiors)
It does not have reduction of weight

Yeah, even though it's in Puerto Rico, it's a USDM Lancer. I suppose you could whine that he has less strict smog laws than most states, but I doubt any of the Turbo Lancers in the 50 states are adhering to those laws anyway I'm sure the RRM Lancer will break that record, but this is definitely the fastest daily driven Lancer.
Congrats on having the fastest US Lancer!

This dude has a sick set up...you could find the pics if you search "Puerto Rico"...Mirage headers....intriguing type stuff.
If you dont want to give him his props for the fastest lancer in US, then ****'it....Fastest Lancer in the Western Hemisphere! BOOYA!
That time would be even better by reducing the weight, Gutting the inside, CF hood, slicks..........all that.
Good job Gris.
PALANTE! SIEMPRE PALANTE'!
