Neonglh goes 10.635 @ 128.70 on the stock turbo!
I went to Empire Dragway with the gang from STM today, and had a good and bad night! The car as it sat made 406 whp and 354 ft/lb just 2 days ago on the STM dyno. I took the car last weekend to the track and went a 12.100 @ 124.35 just rolling out at the tree and then banging on the gears, letting off at the 1000'. Tonight before we got to the track, I put on a set of Hoosier QTP DOT slicks, and took out the passenger seat. Weight before this was 2594, so it was probably around 2530 or so, maybe less.
First pass was no good, I bogged really badly and went 12.8 @ 124 or something stupid. We got back in the pits, bumped the 2-step up to 6,500 from 6,000. Next pass was a solid 10.635 @ 128.70 mph! I then went to back it up, but I bogged that launch and only went an 11.284, but that time the mph was up a tad, at 128.81.
Then the bad, we got back to the pits, upped the boost a little bit, and upped the 2 step. I got in the burnout box and tried to spin them, but they hooked pretty good. When I got up to the line, I launched at it went, and then sounded like ****. I EXPLODED the transfercase. Cory got under the car and said it was split all the way around, and the only thing holding it together were the axles. Wow!
So, I am upset about that of course, but it's ok. I've obviously decided a long time ago that I don't mind breaking stuff to go fast. Tonight was overall a successful night and I managed to get on first place for 2010 on both ET and MPH for the stock turbo.
All on a stock block too!
Thanks STM and everyone else for helping out

Those pointers might eat some t cases. Are they on clutch dumps?
Wow on time. Congrats on the 10.6 run. I don't have any clue how to get my car down that low time. I'd say 10.75 with absolute perfect scenerio for me. I guess I got some thinking to do to beat that time.

Thanks for the props, I am quite excited on the performance for the first night out. It would have only gotten better and better, but alas, we broke. I did get to drive to the track 20 miles or so and then hop right in line, which is always cool to do on a "race" car
