AWD Motorsports Breaks Stock Appearing & Stock Ecu Records!!!!
It was a great night tonight even with only 1 pass as the track was packed and we have an Event this weekend.. Right off the trailer on a brand new FP Black Setup the car turned a 9.33@146mph.. Breaking the Stock Ecu MPH & ET Record and setting the fastest ET for a stock frame turbo.. This car was a budget project of ours and its shaping up to be one the sickest setups we have ever assembled.. Nothing is sweeter than a stock looking Evo under the hood that runs LOW 9's.. For those that live under a rock and missed our FP Black Thread here is the mod list..
4g64 Engine w/ Evo IX head.. Buschur Spec Internals

Here is the 3 Records all Broken in 1 pass!!!!
60ft was a 1.35 
ALSO, Peak Boost was only 36psi in 4th.. 33psi on 1-3rd so this car has a BUNCH left in it.. 150+ is around the corner!!!
I want to say thanks to everyone that helped out this week to get this car prepared for this weekends Event.. With a steady workflow its not easy keeping your own stuff going sometimes..

Congrats guys but umm who the hell was driving that thing??? I am not sure if I ever heard a first to second shift that fast before.

Hey Mike, you guys do some great stuff and I'm not really one to say much, but I can't agree with "stock appearing" for the turbo in the thread title. I agree with the "stock frame" part from the thread, but anyone can easily look at a car with a stock turbo and the FPblack and clearly notice a difference.
Sorry if that came off harsh, that's just my opinion. However, I must say that this car is a screaming machine. With 40-42 psi I wouldn't doubt if you guys don't become the first crew to put a "stock frame" turbo into the 8s. Congrats on the run to you, the driver and the rest of your team!

The term Stock Appearing is used for any Turbo using the Stock Frame.. Nobody said the whole care appeared stock.. thats COMMON SENSE.. Thanks for compliments..
